my style is natural, fun, relaxed, and intimate - i will definitely give you direction for some shots to be sure we get what is important to you, but i love to capture the little moments best of all - and these are rarely posed! i will be silly with your children and encourage them to be themselves because i believe these make the best photos by allowing their little (or big!) personalities to shine through.
your session will take place at the setting of your choice - or i will be happy to make a recommendation if you prefer! i work with natural light, so bright and open indoor spaces can work beautifully and outside locations are always lovely. mornings or evenings are definitely the best for gorgeous light, but as long as there is some shade, we can make almost any time work. i'm happy to change locations during our session, as long as it doesn't use up too much of our time together, and you can definitely bring a change of clothes (or 2!) for yourself and/or your children.
*newborn sessions will take place at your home, and should be when your baby is 1-2 weeks old. they may be anywhere from 2-3 hours depending on your baby's tolerance that day. ideally, to ensure my availability, most couples contact me for newborn photos several months before their due date.
